B1 WARRINGTON

In the reshuffle of 1974, Cheshire County lost a number of its former fire stations to both Metropolitan Counties - Greater Manchester and Merseyside.  Warrington, however, was a gain from the former County Borough, which though previously in Lancashire, moved into Cheshire at that time.

Apart from Lancashire, Warrington was the only other brigade to purchase a Busmar bodied appliance.
