Formerly Lancashire County Fire Station C53, Whiston moved in to Merseyside in the reorganisation of 1974.

Bedford DTC926E was seen at one of a number
of large fires at United Reclaim in Speke, this one in 1974.
Following Whiston's move from Lancashire to
Merseyside all the boards/badges were removed by the station personnel.

at Park Mill, Royton, 8 August 1970.
