B38/A35/W35 LYTHAM

These two pictures of the old station on Chapel Street were taken in November 2010.

Karrier 108HTC was one of just two Karrier Water Tenders used in the County.  All others were DP vehicles.
This picture was taken in the Royal Victoria Dock in East London in the mid-70s when the vehicle had passed into preservation.

Having a 2nd appliance bay leaves room for Dennis F46 CWT759H which was seen, 21 April 2009.
[This appliance returned to Great Harwood, but has since been sold.]

Before preservation CWT759H was based at Barnoldswick,  a West Riding Station until 1974.
This rear view was taken at Great Harwood Fire Station, 16 September 2002.

When this picture was taken, Bedford KG A708KHG had moved a couple of miles up the road from St. Annes, its original location.
