Barnoldswick was one of two stations in the West Riding of Yorkshire, that 'moved' into Lancashire in 1974.

to c.1914.

and pictures for the Silver Jubilee of King George V & Queen Mary in
1935.

Bedford TK 353EWW passed to Lancashire from
West Riding in 1974.

This appliance, once based at Barnoldswick,
was also new to the West Riding Fire Brigade
where it carried a white livery. It
remained in service until 1989. It was preserved in Lancashire for a number
of years before being sold.
When photographed was seen at Great Harwood
fire station in 2002.

Leyland Freighter E125HCW became the oldest
such appliance still in regular service.
It served at this station from new, and left
the brigade in July 2010.
