A slightly unusual shout for us, as we normally only attend incidents of 6 pumps and above. However, we do attend other incidents if there is a need for humanitarian assistance, and with the temperature approaching 30C today, our attendance was really appreciated. I am grateful for the kind assistance given to bring the interior shots, taken under strict supervision and at a time when the area had been declared safe, the shots themselves being taken from outside.
Not surprisingly at the height of the blaze, smoke could be seen some 8 miles away.
