OPEN DAY
ROCHDALE FIRE STATION/MUSEUM
5 JULY 2009

As always at Open Days in Greater Manchester, there was a variety of appliances on display, both old and new.

Incident Command Unit P21GNA was a 'busy' attraction.

Also in attendance from Agecroft was PN57AOZ

HPV MUS51LAE from Oldham was able to beam pictures from its cage into the ICU.

Enhanced Rescue Unit MV54AYX was seen leaving the Open Day.

The Search & Rescue Dogs always prove a very popular attraction.

Members of the Lancashire Urban Search & Rescue team also attended with PL06OCE and the Prime Movers below.

Prime Mover 103

Prime Mover 146

Dennis 'Big 6' Pump Escape GNB217 from the GMFS Museum.

The former Rochdale Borough Turntable Ladder PDK717 also from the Museum.

The new Greater Manchester USAR vehicle was also in attendance, photos of which can be found by clicking on the link.

A separate page also exists for the Greater Manchester Fire Service Museum, where I have tried to include a wide cross-section of exhibits.
