SANDBACH FIRE STATION

Congratulations to all who were involved with a superb Open Day, which was accompanied by glorious sunshine and warm temperatures.  As well as the displays in and around the station, the Sandbach Fire Cadets gave a demonstration of dealing with a chemical incident, whilst the retained firefighters gave a demonstration of extricating a casualty from a car which had been involved in an R.T.C. with a tanker ~ the tanker having overturned onto the car.

With the non-availability of DMB902X, DMB907X was borrowed from Poynton.

Ex-Macclesfield T.L. FMA210 was seen at the start of the Carnival Parade.

Community Roadshow Vehicle FN54AFX was also in attendance.

A delicious hog roast was served in the station.

The Fire Fighters Charity stall.

The cadets were doing a sponsored hose run throughout the weekend.
