Ford D600 BBU999J ultimately became the only
petrol-engined Ford in the GMC fleet.
It was fitted with a Canadian Ford 6 Cylinder
petrol engine, with spare engine parts
having to be ordered through Quicks of Manchester
from their specialist US import section.
