This demonstrator Volvo Bronto was seen during
its evaluation period with the brigade.

The first ALPs J561PND, K64XBA and K65XBA were
photographed in various poses during the handover in 1992.

Volvo W37RNB was in use as a DTV when seen in the yard at Leigh Fire Station, 16 July 2005.
Volvos W37RNB and W38RNB were seen at Leigh
T.S.C., 3 August 2009.
By December 2009 both these vehicles had left
GMF&RS.
Former AFS Land Rover JJD267D is lettered for
URBAN SEARCH AND RESUCE.
It was seen at the Fire Extravaganza in Milnrow,
3 September 2005.
The brigade has recently purchased a number
of Nissan Utility vehicles.
Carrying a magnetic blue light, MX05FHK, was
seen at the Fire Extravaganza, Milnrow, 3 September 2005.
Nissans MX05FHN/FHP were both seen near Belmont, 4 May 2007.
Nissan MX05FHO was seen at the rear of Whitehill Fire Station, 24 January 2009.
GMN999 for the Isle of Man was built to the
same body specification as MV54AYU

WIUs MX07GYY [East] and MX07GYZ [West] were seen at Leigh TSC, 6 June 2007.
Possibly the first of the new batch of Volvos was seen outside TVAC, 11 June 2007.
Dodge Commando B967RBA, converted to the Skid Master vehicle, was seen at Leigh T.S.C. 9 July 2007.
The first of the TVAC bodied Volvo FLHs had just arrived at Leigh T.S.C., 2 August 2007.
