95 EARBY

In 1974, both Earby and near neighbour Barnoldswick were transferred under local government reorganisation from the former West Riding Fire Service, to Lancashire County.

Dodge K850 ~ UWU330L ~ was one of a very small number of appliances
to pass into Lancashire from the former West Riding Fire Brigade,
and was based at Earby before moving to Longridge.

The Dodge was soon replaced by Ford D1114 STJ908M

Proto Daf55 R101NBV was beginning its final days as a frontline appliance when seen by the fire station, 25 October 2010.

Daf 55 PJ52FMO was seen on relief duties at Belmont, 29 April 2011.

A final shot of  PJ52FMO at Earby as it was being stripped of equipment before joining the reserve fleet, 27 January 2014.

Daf LF PO55WDV was seen at Washington Hall, 6 February 2016.  It subsequently joined the Trainign Fleet there.
