The old Clitheroe Fire Station, now a vet's
surgery,
was also located on Princess Avenue, but on
the opposite side.
Seen here in 1972 were Bedford J4's 3543TD
and 3547 TD
Note: 3547TD was originally based at Hindley, Stretford and Lancaster. It moved here to replace accident damaged 3546TD seen below.
More than one Bedford J4 or J5 overturned as
illustrated here by 3546TD shortly after is was righted.

Clitheroe had two consecutively regsitered
Ford D1410 appliances.
When photgraphed RTJ420L was in the training
school whilst RTJ421L was seen in front of the old fire station.
