The station on Weldbank Lane ceased to be operational on 30 September 2015.
The retained pump moved to the wholetime station at Washington Hall.

Karrier WTE893 was seen at the Rochdale Museum Open Day, 4 August 1990.

Karrier Gamecock WTE893 from 1955 has recently changed ownership and is currently being restored.
It was based at Chorley from new, passing to Wesham in January 1961 and
finally to Leigh as a reserve appliance in March 1966.
Now 51 years old, it was seen at its new owner's premises, 3 November 2006.
[Since these pictures were taken, this appliance has been sold again and more recently being offered for sale on ebay.]

Following quite an amount of renovation, WTE893 was believed still to be for sale when seen 7 December 2007.

AFS Land Rover NYR876 was seen in a convoy of vehicles in North Wales in June 1965.

This Prime Mover left Lancashire later in 2010.

Daf 55 Y541XEO was seen at a large moorland fire near Anglezarke, 17 June 2010.
It will see further service at Colne.

Land Rover PN04VAK was seen leaving an incident on Burscough Industrial Estate, 12 October 2010.

Daf 55 PJ52FMP was seen at a major fire in Blackrod near Bolton, 3 August 2010.

Daf 55 PJ52FMP was seen at the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway. 4 April 2017.

Daf 55 PF51OVK was seen on the moors near Tockholes, 21 April 2007.
[It was allocated here in Spring 2014 for a few months following the withdrawal of PJ52FMP]

Daf LF Prime Mover and the new Foam Tender Pod was also seen in the station yard, 23 February 2010.
[This Prime Mover is now based on the Fylde.]
